Outdoor Living - Luxury Pool - Landscape Design and Consultations
for the Greater Charlotte and Surrounding Areas
A beautiful outdoor space starts with a plan that works for your property, your priorities, and your budget.
I’m Eric Zackaroff, The Landscape Design Guy.
I bring 30 years of design and construction experience to outdoor living, poolside spaces, and landscapes across the Charlotte region.
Whether you plan to hire an installer, tackle part of the project yourself, or build in stages, I’ll help you make the key decisions before construction begins because.....
"Failure to plan is planning to fail."
Landscape Design for Charlotte Area Homes
The right landscape plan does more than make a yard look better. It addresses how you use the property, where water goes, what needs screening, and which plants will thrive in the available space. I design landscapes around practical needs and the character of each site.

A plan for the way your property works
We’ll look at the existing conditions and the improvements you want to make. That might mean a welcoming front entrance, more privacy in the backyard, a better connection to the patio, or planting that suits the light and room available.
I use the right plant in the right place for the right reasons.
What a landscape plan can address
Planting and curb appeal, paths and hardscape direction, privacy and screening, lighting concepts, limited irrigation planning, and grading or drainage concepts where appropriate. Your design estimate will specify the drawings included for your project.

How much does landscape design cost ?
Design fees depend on the size of the property, the complexity of the site, and the drawings needed. A planting update and a multi-feature outdoor living plan require different amounts of work. We’ll start with a $75 Design Discovery and then provide a design service estimate.
The consultation fee is credited toward design if you hire me.

What will my landscape design include?
Your design estimate identifies the drawings and services included. Depending on your project, these may include a planting plan, hardscape layout, lighting plan, and limited drainage or irrigation planning.
Use your approved design to discuss installation with a contractor, handle selected work yourself, or phase improvements over time.
Let’s start with your property and priorities.
