Pool and Poolside Living Design for Charlotte Area Backyards

A well-designed pool should feel connected to the rest of your property. I design pools, spas, water features, and ponds, along with the patios, planting, and outdoor living spaces around them. Together, these elements create a backyard that works for the way you want to relax, gather, and entertain.

Design the water and the space around it

We’ll consider how you want to use the pool or water feature, where people will gather, and how the design connects to your home. Privacy, shade, views, drainage, and changes in grade all help shape a plan that fits your property.

Independent Pool Design

I’m Eric Zackaroff, an independent pool and outdoor living designer based in Cramerton, North Carolina.

I help homeowners plan pools, spas, and the surrounding patios, planting, privacy, and gathering spaces

as one connected backyard.

You can hire me for design without hiring me for installation. I can coordinate the design with your pool builder and landscape installer, with the specific drawings and services identified in your design estimate. I serve the Charlotte area, including Belmont, Waxhaw, Marvin, Weddington, Fort Mill, and Indian Land.
