My Story
Originally from Staten Island, NY, our founder Eric Zackaroff moved to Charlotte, NC, in 1996 to continue pursuing his passion for outdoor design and construction. Before launching The Landscape Design Guy LLC, he worked with numerous outdoor living, Landscape and pool design-build firms in both Staten Island and Charlotte, learning from seasoned Architects, Engineers and Green Industry professionals honing his craft. These experiences laid the foundation for his approach—blending practical design principles, expert craftsmanship and innovative solutions to create outdoor spaces that are both functional and visually stunning.
